NLP-South 3 April 2008

‘Creating fun with NLP’ with Tara Dominick of

Living Creatively

Once again our trainer didn’t want to take anything for granted about the ‘NLP-South audience’ - what good role models they are for us all! Tara, asked us to consider how we rate our own creativity - which would later become a benchmark for how far we moved during the evening.

Robert Dilts

You can find out more about Robert Dilts and his NLP University at http://www.nlpu.com/NLPU.htm.

Dilts developed the ‘Neurological Levels’ concept, taking inspiration from Gregory Bateson. A useful critique of the model, its development and its validity has been written by Keith E Rice and can be found at: http://www.integratedsociopsychology.net/Models/Neurological_Levels.html

We then looked in greater level at how we each create fun - in relation to Dilts’ neurological levels - before moving on to play with words and pictures to create a personal metaphor for creativity and fun

Now we had begun to understand our own creativity more, Tara gave us an irresistible opportunity to ‘ramp up’ our potential for creativity, so it is available to us whenever we need it.
